This Friday to Sunday is our regional Navigators conference, The Weekender, at a camp in Osceola, WI.  And it’s time to recruit our prayer warriors!  The Weekender is a key event for our fall semester, important to our vision of equipping students to love and labor for Jesus: when students from 11 campuses in the Midwest learn powerful truths about their Christian walks, connect deeply with other students from their campuses, and are set up to grow and reach out for Christ the remaining school year.

 May we
ask you, our friends and supporters, to pray specifically for Friday night?  In addition to overall prayer requests:

·         - the health of all those in attendance
          - the many, many details of a conference this size (there’s about 340 registered)
          - camaraderie and genuine fellowship among students from each campus
           - staff as they prepare many seminars and workshops
           - Matt Letourneau, The Navigators campus director at U of Alabama, is our speaker

          - this year’s theme is “Fix Your Thoughts on Jesus”

Friday night holds some specific needs for prayer:

         -  safe travel to the Weekender for students and staff
         - quality bonding among students in vehicles
         - registration to run smoothly and with little hiccup

         - Friday night’s main session begins at 9:00 p.m., and is titled “Fixing your thoughts   on the real Jesus”.
         - The Navigators blessing the camp throughout the weekend (our size makes for a lot of work for their staff!)

And for our family. . . please pray that God would provide many opportunities for all four of us to get to know and love our students more!

God bless you richly as you pray for us and the students we love!
